Get Four FREE Immunity-Boosting Qi Gong Video Classes You Can Do In Your Living Room

During uncertain times, many of us feel stress and anxiety.  Practicing self-care is so important for both our physical and mental health. In my life, I have found that practicing QiGong has had a positive effect on both. Because of this, I am providing a link ( to free online website that has four QiGong videos. These trainings are being provided by Lee Holden, a Master Tai Chi and QiGong teacher whom I have had the privilege to train with in the past. Regardless of your preconceptions of QiGong or its benefits, I encourage you to log in and give it a try.

Before you make a judgement, try it out for a few days. Plan on practicing at the same time each day, preferably in the morning. However, any time will do. Feel free to pass this link on to anyone you think could benefit from some self-care practices like QiGong. I hope you enjoy the training.

We are also partnering with RDT Cross Fit to get some short workouts that you can do at home. These short videos should be coming soon.  FYI, if you are unable to access the videos from your departmental computer due to possible site blocks, please forward this email to your personal email where you will be able to download the videos. Be safe and stay healthy.

The Veterans Health Administration has activated their Emergency Management Coordination Cell (EMCC) to allow veterans access to important care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Veterans Affairs Medical Centers are prepared with negative airflow beds and testing kits for veterans who are exhibiting symptoms and need medical treatment.

VA staff is asking for all visitors to call or send a message through My HealtheVet before visiting, even if they have an appointment. Anyone who tries to enter a VA center will be screened for a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms.

“If you are a veteran and are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please call your provider first and speak with them about what the next steps are,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “The county’s outpatient clinics and main medical center remain open and many appointments are being handled by telephone or video if possible. We’re taking the necessary steps to keep our veterans safe while still providing the critical services needed.”
